*gagal membawa erti tidak mencapai apa yang diingini atau tidak mencapai matlamat yang dikehendaki. Kegagalan dalam peperiksaan boleh berlaku pada bila -bila masa, dalam mana-mana peperiksaan dan kepada sesiapa sahaja. pelajar yang cemerlang sentiasa membuat persediaan yang sewajarnya agar tidak gagal.
